Egyptian VP Thanks Youth, Asks for CalmFebruary 3, 2011In an interview, Egyptian Vice President Omar Suleiman thanked the youth, saying they "are the light that have ignited reform." He told protesters that they have been given what they asked for. Then he asked for calm and for protesters to clear the streets so that the government can get everyone back to work and ensure uninterrupted food and other supplies so people won't suffer.
