Joe the Plumber Launches Bid for CongressOctober 25, 2011Samuel Wurzelbacher became known as Joe the Plumber during the 2008 election even though his name was not Joe and is not a licensed plumber. He has decided to run for congress in 2012 as a Republican in Ohio's 9th congressional district. Samuel claims he is isn't doing this because he likes power or because he wants to be a congressman.
